First Grade Magic

The magic of reading is awesome!  Reading takes you any place you want to go--Disneyland, Worlds of Fun, or even Hawaii!  The First Grade magic continues as the boys and girls donned the hats and capes of magicians!  After discussing what a sentence is:  complete thought, begins with capital letter, and ends with the correct punctuation mark, the first grade wrote their own sentences. If they could change the rabbit into something else, it would be...

I would change the rabbit into a lemur because I want a pet lemur.  Cooper

I would change the rabbit into a person so I am a magician.  Zac

I would change the rabbit into a lion.  Kendra

I would change the rabbit into a dog because it is little.  Keyfer

I would change the rabbit into a hen so the hen can lay eggs for breakfast to eat.  Megan

I would change the rabbit into a dragon because I want a pet dragon.  I will take him to Vegas and shopping.  Myles

I would change the rabbit into a book so I could read it.  Natalie

I would change the rabbit into a cheetah so I could treat it right.  Ryan

I would change the rabbit into a pumpkin because it is Halloween.  Savannah N.

I would change the rabbit into a squirrel.  I want a squirrel to have as a pet.  Nevaeh

I would change the rabbit into a frog so it can not run.   What frogs eat are flies.  Kortney

I would change the rabbit into a wall.  Josh

I would change the rabbit into a pony because I want to go everywhere.  Regan

I would change the rabbit into a dog because I like dogs.  Brook

I would change the rabbit into a frog so it can eat the flies in my house.  Savannah P.
